Form typing

USCIS form typing in Phoenix

You choose the USCIS form and give us your answers. We type them in English into the blank spaces and read them back to you before you sign. We are not attorneys and don't give legal advice.

You choose the form, we type your answers

We are not attorneys and do not give legal advice. You choose the form and give us your answers; we type them into the blank spaces. They go in English, exactly as you give them.

This service is for you if you already know which form you’re filing, on your own or after talking to an attorney, and need help writing your answers in English. If you don’t know yet which form applies to you, talk to an immigration attorney or an accredited representative first.

Which forms do you type?

Printed USCIS forms you have already decided to file. For example:

  • I-589, application for asylum and for withholding of removal.
  • I-130, petition for alien relative, and I-130A, supplemental information for spouse beneficiary.
  • I-485, application to register permanent residence or adjust status.
  • I-765, application for employment authorization (work permit).
  • I-864, affidavit of support.
  • N-400, application for naturalization.

You can download the form from uscis.gov or bring it printed. We don’t tell you which of these forms you need or whether you qualify. You decide that, or your attorney does.

How does it work?

We type your answers, and you review everything before you sign. The steps are:

  1. You tell us which form you’re filing.
  2. You give us your answers and the details each blank asks for, such as dates, addresses and jobs.
  3. We type your answers in English, without adding or leaving out anything.
  4. We read the whole form back to you in Spanish so you can confirm every answer.
  5. You sign it and file it yourself.

Forms such as the I-485 and the N-400 have one part for the interpreter, the person who read you the questions in your language, and another for whoever filled in the form, if that wasn’t you. The I-485 instructions say that when the same person did both, that person completes both parts. That’s what we do, with our signature, not a typed name.

How much does it cost?

A small flat fee per form: [TO CONFIRM]. USCIS filing fees are not included. You pay them directly to USCIS.

If your supporting documents are in Spanish, we can translate them separately with a certified translation. Certificates start at $35 and are ready in 48 business hours, or in 2 to 4 hours with express service for an extra charge.

What should you have ready?

The answers to what the form asks. Depending on the form, for example:

  • Your passport and any earlier immigration documents.
  • Your birth and marriage certificates.
  • Your addresses and jobs for the last several years, with dates.
  • The dates of your trips outside the United States.

If you don’t know how to answer a question, we don’t fill it in for you: that answer has to come from you or your attorney.

What we don’t do

We don’t choose the form or tell you whether you qualify. We don’t build your case, represent you before USCIS or file the form for you.

We also don’t fill in court documents, such as divorce paperwork. If you need documents translated for a divorce case, we can do that.

If you need advice about your case, look for an immigration attorney or a representative accredited by the Department of Justice.

Frequently asked questions

How much does form typing cost?

A small flat fee per form: [TO CONFIRM]. USCIS filing fees are not included. You pay those directly to USCIS.

Can you tell me which form I need or whether I qualify?

No. Choosing a form or telling you whether you qualify is legal advice, and we don't give it. For that, talk to an immigration attorney or a representative accredited by the Department of Justice. Once you know which form you're filing, we type your answers.

Do you file the form for me?

No. You review the form, sign it and file it yourself. We only type your answers into the blank spaces.

Can you guarantee approval?

No. USCIS makes the decision. What we do is type every answer exactly as you give it and read it back to you before you sign.
